Achievements

  • Raigad District got 3rd position in Maharashtra during Digital India Week celebrations organized by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India in the Year 2015. The award given by the hands of Shri Ravi Shankar, the then Central Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India on 28-12-2015.
  • 2. The following awards received by PMC in the tenure of Addl. Commissioner, PMC.

    i. Digital Governance Project of PMC received the SKOCH order-of-merit in May 2017.
    ii. PMC CARE project received the SKOCH order-of-merit in November 2017.
    iii. STP mobile app received SKOCH order-of-merit in November 2017.
    iv. Dashboards projects received SKOCH order-of-Merit in November 2017.
    v. Pune connect App received award from Business World Magazine.
    vi. Best Enterprise App Award for PMC CARE by Technology Sabha forum of Indian Express group in February, the project was selected among 180 projects from the country.
    vii. Pune Municipal Corporation received awards for Enterprise City Performance Dashboard in dashboard categories and Sewerage Treatment Plant App at "Smart Infrastructure Innovation Award" initiative.
    viii. Pune emerged as the best city among 23 cities in terms of quality of urban governance of the survey conducted by a Bengaluru-based organisation 'Janaagraha' in March 2018. The cities were measured under four key components of governance, urban planning and design, urban capacities & resources, empowered & legitimate political representation, transparency & accountability and participation.
    ix. PMC is awarded HUDCO Award for Beast practices to "Improve the Living Environment 2017-18" for Pune Street Lightening Project implemented in PPP model.
    x. PMC received 'Certificate of Appreciation' for JM Road Rejuvenation Project under Pune Street Program.
